Improving health, dignity, and wellbeing of vulnerable communities in Zambia through innovative, inclusive, and community-driven interventions.
Hope for Good Health Services (HGHS) is a Zambian non-governmental organisation dedicated to improving the health, dignity, and wellbeing of vulnerable populations through innovative, inclusive, and community-driven interventions.
Established in response to persistent health inequalities, limited access to quality healthcare, growing disease burdens, and increasing vulnerability of poor communities affected by poverty, climate shocks, food insecurity, and inadequate health infrastructure.
We bridge gaps by working closely with communities, government institutions, healthcare facilities, development partners, traditional leaders, and civil society organisations to strengthen community resilience and improve health outcomes.
A healthy, resilient, and empowered society where every person has equitable access to quality healthcare.
To improve the quality of life of vulnerable communities through inclusive healthcare services and community empowerment.
The principles that guide every intervention, partnership, and relationship we build with communities.
We uphold honesty, transparency, professionalism, and accountability in all our operations and engagements.
We are committed to serving communities with empathy, respect, dignity, and care.
We promote equal access to opportunities for all regardless of gender, age, disability, religion, or social status.
Communities are central to sustainable development and actively participate in decisions affecting their lives.
We embrace creativity, evidence-based solutions, and continuous learning to improve healthcare delivery.
We remain accountable to beneficiaries, partners, donors, government institutions, and all stakeholders.
We value partnerships, teamwork, and collective action in addressing complex development and health challenges.
